The problem and the outcome

The problem

You need an app your customers will actually keep on their phone — or your team is running the business through phone calls and spreadsheets when they are out on the road.

The outcome

An app on both the App Store and Google Play that people find easy to use, plus a way to release updates without starting over each time.

What you can build

Things we build under this service.

Not an exhaustive list — if what you need is close to something here, it is worth asking.

  • Customer apps for ordering, booking and accounts
  • Delivery and driver apps with live location
  • Field and on-site apps for staff
  • Loyalty, rewards and membership apps
  • Marketplace and multi-vendor apps
  • Apps that pair with an existing website or system
  • Offline-capable apps for poor signal areas
  • Taking over and fixing an app someone else built
What's included

What comes as standard.

  • One build, both platforms

iPhone and Android from a single codebase where that makes sense, which keeps the cost down and the two versions identical.

  • Works without a signal

The app keeps working in a basement, a lift or a rural delivery route, and syncs up when the connection returns.

  • Push notifications that earn their place

Order updates, reminders and alerts people want — set up so you can send them yourself without a release.

  • Store submission handled

Listings, screenshots, review responses and staged rollouts. We publish under your developer account so the app stays yours.

A typical project

Food Delivery Platform

A restaurant group’s own delivery operation: customers order in an app, riders are dispatched and tracked, the kitchen works from a screen, and head office sees every branch at once.

Questions

What people ask us first.

Do we need separate iPhone and Android apps?

Usually not. Most business apps are best built once and released to both stores, which costs less and keeps the two versions the same. We will tell you the exception if your app is one.

How much does an app cost to run each month?

Beyond our work there are the store developer accounts, hosting for the data behind the app, and any paid services it uses such as maps or messaging. We estimate these before you commit so the number in your budget is the real one.

What if Apple rejects the app?

Rejections are normal and usually about listing details or permissions rather than the app itself. We handle the response and the resubmission as part of the project.

Who owns the app?

You do. The code, the store listings and the developer accounts are all in your name from the start.
